Beauty Collage

Dear Diary,

I finally finished the beauty collage. It still has some rough edges but the paper was wearing thin from all the gluing and pulling off I have done. The back has a baby with wings inspired by Marsha at Tumble Fish's fairies. My little butterfly baby does not compare to her fairies but it sure was fun to make. Marsha also uses the black and white checked strip on her fairy art. I temporarily borrowed this idea too but, as you can see I drew mine on but it is a little crude so I'm going to cover it when I can with something else. Our girls club meeting is next Thursday after school. 48 girls have signed up! Today is the first meeting so we will have a more accurate number this afternoon. I can't wait to see how they turn out!

I love this! This is just the coolest piece you have created and I wish I could make one with you! You did a spectacular job and I don't see me in this, I see all you, baby! You don't ever have to credit me for things you borrow - you may get inspired by someone but you make it all your own. I was not the first to put wings on a body or checked strips in the layout, as you know! Borrow away and don't give it a second thought. Anyhoo, I love this, LOVE IT I TELL YOU! It is so fun and meaningful.

On another note, I'm just popping in on my regular blog stops to let everyone know I'm getting ready to leave for my dad's in a couple of days and have so much to do before that. I may not have much time or access to the net for awhile so know that I a missing you and your blog and thinking about you. I'll get all caught up when I get home.

Thanks for all of your warm visits to my blog. I love having you as a friend. Happy Valentine's Day!

I really love your collage piece. So much going on I spent a while just enjoying it! I don't think you should cover up the black and white you did a great job and I love the way it stands out on the piece. How cool that you have such a large womens group:) Wish I were able to be part of it.Thanks for stopping by my blog and commenting. I love poetry and quotes and try to share the ones that touch me.

I love your Beauty Collage! I love your use of personal photos, especially the one of Buddy. I think you did a great job on it and I can't wait to hear how the girls do with theirs. Building self-esteem through art is doing the work of angels!

have a good good day :)

Your pages came out really great. My son was a vegan for 4 years. He just recently went back to eating meat. My daughter did it for 2 years, but put on weight cause all she ate was carbs. They survived, but I worried about them.
